The Incline Fireworks, Inc. Board of Directors extends its sincere gratitude to the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District (NLTFPD), Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID), and Lantis Fireworks for their immediate and professional response to the incident involving the failure of the fireworks barge during the Fourth of July celebration.

Ongoing Recovery and Investigation

An active recovery operation is underway, and a formal investigation into the cause of the incident is ongoing. Public safety and environmental protection remain our top priorities. Incline Fireworks is working closely with professional recovery teams to assess and remediate any environmental impact.

We ask community members who may come across debris related to the fireworks or barge to assist in the recovery process by:

  • Taking a photo of the debris
  • Noting the exact location
  • Calling the recovery hotline at (775) 241-8572
