We’re aware of a video circulating on Facebook showing fireworks containers on the lakebed following last year’s barge incident. The video, which was not authorized for release onto social media by its owner, was captured shortly after the barges sank and was shared with TRPA and other authorities more than six months ago as part of the investigation process.
The investigation remains active, and we are not able to provide additional details at this time. An official and more comprehensive update from our team will be shared in the coming weeks.
